Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk

I've had the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation for little over a year now. Recently and when I say recently I mean last week, I bought the right shade for my skin. I was originally matched to a five which was waaaaaay to dark and pink for my skin tone. Somehow I'd made it work as I love it so much, but after being matched to a three, I can see that its so much better.

Priced at £36 its probably one of my top high end foundations and now that I have the right colour I can use it more often, hurray!

Let's talk about why I love this.

This foundation itself perfect anytime as it can be built up from medium to full coverage without any cakeness. It contains no SPF, so is perfect for nights out or occasions where you'll be photographed a lot.

The finish is definitely what I'd call satin. Not matte, a little dewy, maybe best suited to drier skin as I think if you're oilier you'll find by midday you'll be looking a little too glowy if you know what I mean. I have combination skin, so as long as I powder it lasts pretty well on me.  I can wear this all day and it still looks as fresh as it did when first applied.

Giorgio Armani have a massive shade range. I'd definitely recommend taking your time when getting colour matched and going outside to check the match in natural daylight as those pesky store lights can be deceiving.

Have you tried Luminous Silk?
