Current Daily Makeup

With Spring just around the corner I like to lighten it up a bit when it comes to my makeup. I had a bit of a splurge recently in Westfield’s and thought I’d share with you some of my new bits and what I’m  currently using on my face on a daily basis.

I’ve just started using the Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation as my base.  I finally got my hands on the right shade (3 for reference) as the one I was using before was waaaay to dark and pink for my skin tone (shade 5)! I love this because its long wearing, can be built up to a full coverage and provides a natural satin finish. To set this I use either MAC’s Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NC15 or MAC’s Translucent Loose Powder.

Concealer as always is my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealerand and to set this in place I’m using the yellow powder from the Anastasia Contour Kit, this is the perfect combo to brighten and hide dark circles in the morning.

For my eyes I’m using a combination of Kiko’s Cream Eye shadow Sticks, which are amazing by the was and I'd highly recommend checking them out! In 07 for the lids and 05 to line underneath, paired with a simple cat flick courtesy of Collection’s Liquid Liner. This is then finished with Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, which I have to say I am loving right now.  It’s definitely one of those mascaras that gets better in time.

To add some warmth I’ve been using Clinique’s True Bronze Bronzer in Sunkissed.  This used to be my absolute favourite bronzing product and I’m pretty sure was one of my first high end purchases, it’s the perfect shade to add natural warmth to the skin without being too orange.

Blush is either the Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush in Gorgeous Berries, which is a stunning deep berry shade! Or my new addition from Inglot which is a bright coral peach, both perfect for this time of year.

No surprise, for my lips are the Tanya Burr Lip-glosses in either Afternoon Tea or First Date, I’ve raved about these so much as they are really highly pigmented and non-sticky, I literally go through them like crazy.  Both shades are peachy / pink nudes which look really pretty and natural for the day.
