July has been a hot month for most of us in the UK and because of this you’ll notice the majority of my raves are aimed at heat proof, sweat proof makeup I have been loving the past month.
MAC Paint Pots in Ground Work and Constructivist, I’vebarely put these down since getting them a month ago as they are so effortless, I use Groundwork as a base and smudge a bit of Constructivist over the top for added depth, great for sexysmoky eyes that don’t budge all day.
It’s only when the elements really put Double Wear to the testthat it truly gets to shine and I appreciate how good it is. As the weather was pretty hot throughout July this was my saviour in the heat.
The Tanya Burr Lip-glosses haven’t left my handbag since Igot Just Peachy about a month ago. Slightly obsessed, I already own 3 of the colours and have my eye on a few more. Creamy, glossy gorgeousness is everything I desire in a lip gloss and these completely hit the mark.
July’s rant goes to Magnifibres Brush on False Lashes Mascara. I’m sorry but it’s just too much of a faff for me, they claim it gives a better effect than false lashes and the promo videos look great, but considering the time it takes to apply this (not to mention my fear of getting fibres in my eyes) I’d rather just whip on a pair of falsies and be done with it. The overall effect isn’t that killer either. Sorry Magnifibres.
