I have to thank my sis for this one! Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara was a speed buy I made last week after borrowing my Sisters one evening. I have never been a fan of Clarins mascaras after a bad experience with their Wonder Volume Mascara a few years ago. There wasn’t much ‘wonder’ going on with this mascara, hence the reason I’ve been reluctant to try them since.
That’s until I tried the Wonder Perfect Mascara, which despite its brush being obviously different, is very comparable in result to the Clinique High Impact Mascara. Whilst Cliniques offering has a firm plastic brush, Clarin’s one is a traditional, fluffy mascara wand, one of which I don’t normally use or like.
I’m not sure how it does it but Wonder Perfect manages to lengthen and separate the lashes, whilst providing lots of volume at the same time, resulting in thick, long, highly defined lashes, just how I like them. The staying power of this is awesome, it doesn't smudge or flake. It can be a little tricky to remove but nothing a good cleansing oil can’t tackle.
All in all a good purchase. Have you tried any of the Clairns mascaras?
