I’ve wanted to try out the Lush Million Dollar Moisturiser
for a while, but being the good girl that I am *coughs* I have been
holding off and using up all my other products before buying this. Once that was
done, I took myself down to Lush and treated myself to the Lush Million Dollar Moisturiser and their Cup o Coffee fresh face mask.
I wouldn’t usually spend £32.50 on a moisturiser from Lush as I’ve had ones from there in the past that haven't really worked for me, but something about this really drew me in.
MDM contains honey, jojoba oil, sesame oil, and glycerine to name a few, SPF
30 (YAY) and a good whack of their Feeling Younger Skin Tint which gives it its gorgeous glow. The cream is fairly thick in consistency and a little goes a long
way.
My skin absolutely adores this, I suffer from dehydrated
skin and MDM has sorted me right out. It’s beautiful
under makeup, thanks to the pearlescent shimmer and makes my skin feel soft and luminous. Just what’s needed now that winter has
decided to show up in the UK!
Coincidently I’d say this is similar to the Charlotte
Tilbury Magic Cream which I reviewed last week HERE, its slightly heavier in
texture but still absorbs into the skin just fine. It gives the same glow and amount
of hydration – if not more so my preference is definitely this.
I kind of knew I was going to love MDM and am glad that it lives up to its claims, I reckon this will be a total winner throughout the summer for those barely there makeup days and will continue using it until then.
As for the Cup o Coffee face mask - hello exfoliation! My gosh if you want a good face scrub then this is the one, I'm sure it removed about 20 layers of dead skin in one go. Be careful though as there is a lot of powerful ingredients in here, it even managed to make my completely non-sensitive skin a little sensitive after use - maybe I scrubbed too hard but be warned. It leaves skin soft and clean and definitely peps you up.
Have you tried anything from Lush? What are your favourites?
