After delving into the world of Charlotte Tilbury recently, I was keen to try out some of her bases,
especially the newly launched Magic Foundation,
the second foundation to be added to her line.
Magic Foundation is marketed as a medium to full coverage which is suitable for all skin types and is packed with skin care benefits. I love me a bit of full coverage - Estee Lauder Double Wear being a favourite so was keen to see what this is all about.
I went for shade 2 as it looked like a good match from the website. CT have little pictures you can scroll over which give a good indication as to what shade you'll be -I'm NC15 in MAC for reference.

Each order comes with samples of your chosen shade, plus one up and one down so make sure you give them a thorough test before opening your bottle of foundation, pretty genius idea if you ask me!
As for the foundation, I'm finding lately I'm reaching for this more and more. It's taken me a while, however I keep coming back to it. I compared it to a few others, Laura Mercier being one which I put on half of my face and the other half the CT (as you do) and I noticed the side with the CT was a lot smoother and my pores were definitely less visible. I like the longevity and it really feels like its giving my winter skin the hit of moisture it needs.
Have you tried the Magic Foundation, what are your thoughts?
