OGX Macadamia Oil

OGX is a hair care brand that up until now I’d heard nothing about. I’d often seen them on the shelves of Boots but not really heard much about them, so when Boots had their 3for2 offer on hair care, I decided to pick up the Macadamia Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.

I was on the hunt for something new as recently my hair’s been really dry and my Herbal Essences just wasn’t cutting it. I didn’t want to spend £25 on my usual Kerastase range as I get through it so quick, so wanted something middle ground that does a good job.

OGX say -

Nutrient-rich macadamia oil + exotic sugar cane extract + bamboo extract = one ultra moisturizing formula. When your hair is parched, this yummy blend will bring back the shine.

Sounded good to me so I gave it a whirl.....

Now I’ve only used this about a handful of times so feel a bit premature raving about it, but my hair looks and feels so much better already.  After the first use I noticed how soft and shiny it looked and how much better it felt as opposed to before.

The shampoo is really thick and luxurious feeling, it foams up really well so only a little is needed and the conditioner instantly hydrated and smoothed the hair. 

So far I’m really impressed and am keen to try out more from the range. Have you tried anything from OGX Haircare?
