Seeing as it was a busy month I felt I needed to pay particular attention to my skin starting with my eyes. I'm not normally one for eye creams but with another birthday been and gone, I felt it was time to start looking after them. Enter No.7 Protect and Perfect Eye Cream. This has been lurking in my drawer for quite some time so I thought I'd dig it out and give it a go. So far so good, I feel like my eye area is a lot smoother and makeup application is easier, less tugging as my eyes feel more moisturised so concealer glides on easier.
Another product I'm loving is the Loreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Elixr which I featured in my top tanners post here. I really like this because it's easy to apply and is a lot more moisturising than other tanners I've tried. Don't get me wrong I still love my Xen Tan and Fake Bake but this is a fraction of the price and works just as well.
Ah the Naked 3 Palette, Ive found myself reaching for this more and more in the warmer weather. So many looks can be created using this palette and now wedding season is upon us I think this will be perfect for such occasion.
Only one rant for May but its a serious one you guys! That is the Eyeko Skinny Liner. I got this a while back on a trip to Selfridges and was disappointed to discover upon opening it, it looked used. Like someone had tested it already and failed to put the lid back on properly so it was all dried out. I have to say the Eyeko customer service team were brilliant!! I explained the situation to them and they sent me a new one out straight away. That aside I'm still disappointed with the product. Mainly because it's nothing special and for £12 I was expecting a little more than your average liquid liner especially as its often raved about. I'll be saving my pennies next time and going back to my usual Bourjois liner.
