Happy New a Year!
First post of 2015 and I thought I'd kick off with a round up of all the products I have enjoyed using throughout 2014, a mixture of old favourites and new discoveries, I've tried to keep it brief. I hope you enjoy.....
Starting off with makeup and top of the pile is the Naked 3 Palette, given to me last year by my Mum & Dad this is one item I've gone back to time and time again. With a range of shimmer, glitter and matte shades I love playing around with the colours in this palette as it's just so darn pretty!
My three complexion favourites from 2014 have got to be Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation & Healthy Balance Powder and the Nars Creamy Radient Concealer. Bourjois Healthy Mix is a really affordable medium coverage foundation, I love it so much I have three shades to take me through from winter to summer! And Nars Radient Creamy Concealer let's just say is already becoming my most repurchased item, concealer perfection in a tube.
I have three brow favourites, Eylure Brow Pencil in Blonde, Soap & Glory Brow Archery in Blondeshell and Anastasia Dip Brow in Blonde. Finding a good brow product when you have ashy hair can be hard so these three have been my go to over the past year.
My two eye favourites from 2014 are my Clinique High Impact Mascara Extreme Volume to which I think I'll stay forever faithful, apart from Nars this is another item I have repurchased again and again. Quite pricey for a mascara but I haven't found one yet that compares and Collections Fast Stroke Eyeliner which is a bargain for £2.99. Such a brilliant eyeliner, matte black and lasts all day.
Hair favourites this year have been quite simple but effective as I've been investing a lot more into my haircare the past year. The Kerastase Bain Du Force Shampoo and Conditioner have been brilliant at strengthening and adding softness to dry brittle ends and the Loreal Hair Oil is a snip of the price of some of the other brands out there but works just as well.
Lastly skin care favourites from 2014, starting with my trusty Clinique Dramatically Different Moistuirsing Lotion. I've used this for years, it's like a big yellow comfort blanket for my skin, If ever I need a simple no frills moisturiser this is what I fall back on. A new discovery for me this year was the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, I love to apply this at night as I know I'm guaranteed to wake up,with plump fresh skin. And last but not least is the GLAMGLOW Powermud Duelcleanse Treatment Mask, I've use this as a once a week treat for my skin to clean out all the dirt and grime leaving skin feeling refreshed and cleansed.
I cannot wait for all the new beauty discoveries hopefully to be made in 2015 and look forward to the year ahead.
What are your favourites from 2014?
