Dark Lip Top Five

Its the time of the year when rocking a dark lip anytime of the day is completely acceptable, I love nothing more in thecolder months to make me feel like its properly winter.  Here are my top five for doing just that.

Topshop Beguiled Lipstick

A really beautiful dark red, really pretty on its own or layered over other shades, this can be built up to look super vampy.  The lipsticks in this range are opaque, long lasting and don’t dry out on the lips.

Topshop Lip Bullet Wine Gum

A new edition to my stash, I was after something really dark so I went for the colour Wine Gum, a dark matte brown with a hint of red. What I find really interesting about these is the texture.  They are so smooth and moisturising yet completely  matte on the lips. Winner.

Rimmel Provocalips Kiss Fatal

Another new edition which if literally haven’t put down since purchasing a few weeks ago.  I cant quite believe how long lasting these are. I’ve actually heard a few people complain that because of this they are so hard to remove.. Once these are on your lips they ain’t going no where! This is a darkberry shade which can be built up or wore as sheer as you like.

MAC Rebel

Always a classic for this time of year, beautiful berry shade,need I say more.

MAC Dare You

I’ve not heard much about this shade on the beauty blogs, however it has always been a favourite of mine for this time of year. A deep red shade that isn’t too loud, perfect for a daytime red lip.
