I wanted to do a quick review on the Bleach London Super Cool Colour in Rose, basically to tell you how awesome it is. As a dye my hair 2-3 times a weeks this isn’t a very affordable option for me to keep repurchasing as it’s a fiver a go, BUT having said that I’d definitely use it again as the colour is much more intense and long lasting than the La Riche Dye I mix myself at home plus with names like Bruised Violet and Washed Up Mermaid who can resist!
The concept is the same as my at home mix, it is a toning conditioner aimed at leaving the hair with a light wash of colour that’s supposed to last 2-10 washes. I noticed there was a lot more colour pigment than any of the other toning conditioners I’ve tried (stained hands not a good look!) and you get slightly more for your money. Compared to L’Oreal which is 100ml and priced at £5.79, for £5.00 you get 150mlof product with Bleach London, not to mention the colour range is incredible.
The product itself is a thick pink cream which you apply to freshly washed damp hair; this is really handy as it’s easy to apply and makes minimal mess. The smell isn’t amazing but it isn’t unbearable either, less scented than the L’Oreal which is nice as I don’t get constant whiffs of it in my hair throughout the day. I left mine on for the recommended time of 15 minutes as the colour looked really pink on my hair, however after rinsing I was left with beautiful shiny pastel hair.
I’d say it’s a little more intense than normal but I quite like that as it means it will last longer. The colour is nice and even and someone even commented on it in my office saying it looked a nice colour so I'd definitely repurchase again, maybe once a week as a top-up. I'm also so tempted by their other colours in the range!
Have you tried any of Bleach London's range?
